When is eggs on toast not just eggs on toast? When you're at Chairs & Coffee. We stumbled across this place while walking Fulham and looking for a quick breakfast before we had to fly home. The atmosphere is very chill, especially if you're looking for a good coffee shop to work on your laptop. The staff are incredibly friendly, and service is quick. But the food...the food is awesome! I had the scrambled eggs made with truffle oil and served on toast, and I still think about them because I have never eaten more delicious eggs in my life. The potatoes were quite tasty as well, and my coffee was good. I'm literally mad I am American because now I can't come back to Chairs & Coffee without getting out my passport and getting on another flight. We will be back! :) ~ Michelle B

تجربة لذيذة ورائعة، جربت لاتيه وقهوة فلتر كانت محضرة جيدا 👌🏻 أيضا جربت جرانولا وبان كيك، الفاكهه اللي كانت معها طازجة!! Delicious dishes and coffee!! I booked a table for Chairs & Coffee brunch for myself and 9 friends one day ago. We were received in the best possible way by a super kind and polite staff in a place with incredible energy, from the playlist to the decoration. First, we ordered a few coffees, Chai, Matcha, Hot Chocolate and Orange Juice, and they were all AMAZING! For food we had the chef's famous Avocado Kitchen, Full English, Omelette, Pancakes (so huge!) Eggs Royale and Benedict, and the French Toast: it was splendid, more than perfect!!! I've never been to a brunch so wonderful and at a super fair price. Definitely a place to go with family and friends to enjoy delicious drinks and food in super high spirits. Well reviewed in the 2018 London Coffee Guide so gave it a go when working in town for a few hours from late morning to mid afternoon (Thurs). The business apparently used to be more a wine bar but the owners realised that Fulham Broadway is not that vibrant in the evening so attention was switched to coffee. And what a good job they do of it. Beans roasted on site (noisy machine whirring away in the cafe but smell of the roasted beans more than makes up for the noise - plus the roasting adds character!) and house blend make for a very nice espresso-based coffee. Also the first place I’ve been that offers a “short black” as well as a 6oz long black and 8oz americano, great for someone who loves a shorter black coffee with all the extra flavour it brings but something that also lasts a touch longer than an espresso! Friendly staff, tasty lunch options and baked goods and nice chilled atmosphere. I can understand the good write up! ~ Ben C

MIAM ! L'adresse ne paye pas de mine quand on passe devant mais, avec les recommandations de locaux, j'ai brunché là-bas un dimanche. L'endroit est petit et il vaut mieux réserver pour s'y rendre, au risque de devoir attendre qu'une table se libère. La nourriture est excellente, l'accueil souriant, les prix plus que corrects. Je n'ai pas trouvé la décoration super jolie mais elle est simple et fait le travail. Je recommande ce spot qui, selon moi, n'est connu que des initiés. ~ Quentin E

Chairs and coffee is one of our favorite places in London. Drinks and service are amazing, and the food is a cut above. Everything is seasoned and cooked properly, and it is always fresh. The fresh orange juice is squeezed just behind the counter. For my fellow American expats- the buttermilk pancakes cannot be beat. They’re better than most good pancakes I’ve ever had in the US, and I’m a pancake person. Even if you don’t live nearby, Chairs and Coffee is worth the tube ride. I can’t say enough good about it!! ~ kathy b

Great coffee. Good beans and the barista really knew how to get the milk the right texture and temperature. Interesting, tasty food. Enjoyed the kale, avocado, green sauce and eggs - not a combination I had come across before, but liked it. We were allowed to bring our little dog with us, which we really appreciated - but there is a sign on the outside saying 'no dogs'. So I'm not sure if our dog would be allowed back again? Anyway, we enjoyed the coffee, food and service. ~ R

We wanted to get a "tradional" London breakfast - three of us ordered exactly that, and my wife ordered the "Eggs Royal", none of us where dissapointed! Good portions, great flavor, our waitress (even though this was her first day) was both adorable and took care of us well. OH, the breakfast tea was very good as well. I would not hesitate to stop back by this great little resturant again for breakfast or lunch (do they serve dinner too?) ~ Tim S

My favourite brunch place in Fulham! Great variety of things, including my beloved combo of avocado and feta. They have stopped the chorizo for a healthier and more inclusive turkey bacon, which I have grown to love. The coffee is the best in Fulham. And yes, I have tried (nearly) all the coffee shops from west kensington down to parsons green. I’ve lived in the area for 10 years, I’ve had a long time to do this :) ~ Eurydice S

I was skeptical of the “best French toast ever” reviews but - it’s true!! We’ve eaten here a few times now and everything is always super flavourful, perfectly browned/crispy, and fresh. The portions are huge for a reasonable price and the staff is so friendly. If you eat outside, people walking by WILL turn around and check out your food. And the coffee is fantastic too. Seeing this cafe online, I was eager to try it out simply based on the decor. Finally made it today and it did not disappoint. It was a cozy space to sit and work. Coffee and pastries are good and will be back to try the food that also looked delicious. Loved the idea with the chairs! Massimo was very kind and great to get to know during my visit. I just moved to this neighborhood, and have been eating breakfast at this cafe for the past 3 days. Roberto and his staff made me feel welcome and at ease with how friendly they are. It only makes their already-delicious food even more delicious. I don't think I've ever had French toast as good as theirs. And the coffee, of course, is sublime. I'll definitely be coming here regularly from now on. ~ Ryn A

First cafe I ever ate at after moving to London and it did not disappoint. Wonderful staff, great coffee and have sampled most of their menu and love the toasted banana bread with fruit/yoghurt and well as the avocado with bacon and sriracha. Not laptops policy in effect on the weekend, but in such a small space it does enable you to get seated for Sat breakfast as the tables turn over quicker. ~ Kendelle W

Been many times to chairs and coffee but this was my first time at chairs and sushi, and it’s safe to say that they’ve carried their same excellent service and top quality food into their new evening menu! Every single thing we had was delicious and my personal highlight was the spicy mango roll! The best meal out I’ve had in ages and definitely the new hot sushi spot in London! ~ rg52

The avocado toast was absolutely incredible! I've never had such a simple yet decadent combination of avocado, tomato, feta, and mint. It was incredible! The scrambled eggs and toast with truffle oil was perfectly cooked and wonderfully aromatic. The juice and coffee was great too! My first time here and went in the evening for a light bite and a coffee (the only place to get a decent coffee after 7pm in the area). The food was excellent and the sushi was freshly made and of very high quality. Service was fantastic and I've now found a new coffee and sushi favourite in London. Had the Full English and an Americano, both were very good. The atmosphere was quaint and comfortable. The memorable, perhaps exceptional, part of my experience was the service of the host. He was charming, attentive, and was knowledgeable regarding the use of dairy in the kitchen. Would absolutely be coming back if I’m in the area again. ~ Marcos C
